![]() You can bet if they have buses in Heaven, she’s riding in one right now. Rita was a very frequent Valley Transit rider and became friends with the drivers over the years. Rita was fiercely independent and had a unique style. She orchestrated and hosted the yearly Cousins’ reunion, making every gathering a special event. ![]() ![]() In addition to being a devoted daughter, Rita treasured her relatives, friends, and neighbors. They are among the many possessions Rita generously gifted to her cousins and their families. She took many photos and collected artifacts that reflected her travels. She also traveled extensively with her parents throughout the United States. Her European trip included a visit to Germany to explore her German heritage. After graduation, Rita worked briefly for Koutnik Paint and Wallpaper before leaving the workforce to care for her aging parents.ĭuring Rita’s working years, she also made travel a priority. In 1984, Rita ended her career with Heid’s to earn an associates degree from Fox Valley Technical College. Rita was both an accomplished pianist and organist, providing wonderful entertainment both privately and professionally throughout her lifetime. She truly loved working for Heid Music because her work so closely aligned with her passion for music. Rita later was employed by the Heid Music Co. She then attended Fox Valley Technical Institute and after completing her studies was offered a position at FVTI. Mary’s Central High School class of 1954. South River Street home in 1943, she completed her elementary education at Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School and graduated from St. Patrick’s Catholic Grade School in Menasha. She began her grade school education at St. Rita was baptized, received her first Communion, and was confirmed at Sacred Heart Parish where she became a lifelong member. Rita Ann Kugler, daughter of Michael and Leona (Schmidt) Kugler, was born on October 1, 1936, and shed her earthly bonds on Sunday, July 23, 2023, to enter into eternal glory where she joined family and friends who preceded her in death. ![]()
